Restoring Trust in Government
THE CHALLENGE
People lose trust in government when they feel ignored, unheard, or left behind. Arizona's agencies need to restore public trust and ensure incentives align with serving the public rather than political realities. Restoring trust starts with accountability, transparency, and results.
Repeal confidentiality laws that allow agencies to hide failures from the public.
Reform the Auditor General's Office to focus on compliance instead of mainly performance audits.
Require annual attestations of compliance.
Ban key administrative roles from serving in political positions.
JASON'S PRIORITIES
WHY THIS MATTERS
Strong communities depend on a trustworthy government. Transparency, accountability, and results are essential to rebuilding public confidence and moving Arizona forward.
